Was Qutub Minar built against "Hindus"?

Ever tried to Google the fact that why Qutub minar exist ? Try doing it, first answer to it would be as below :

The Qutub Minar is a towering 73 meter high tower built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1193. The tower wasbuilt to celebrate Muslim dominance in Delhi after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu ruler. ... The construction of the tower was later taken over by his successor Iltutmish who constructed three more stories.

However, it was not made in just one day, Qutab-Ud-Din-Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started construction of the Qutub Minar's first storey around 1192. In 1220, Aibak's successor and son-in-law Iltutmish completed a further three storeys. In 1369, a lightning strike destroyed the top storey. Firoz Shah Tughlaq replaced the damaged storey, and added one more. Sher Shah Suri also added an entrance to this tower while he was ruling and Humayun was in exile.

However i am never against any religion or i do not discriminate among anyones on any basis including religion, but knowing the fact , if it stands true , a Muslim ruler built this against Hindu's? Its certainly a good historical place but my question here is :

1) Is this history known to all visitors?
2) Is this pillar not discriminating a strong belief of hate concept among Hindu - Muslim?
3) Should i be still visiting this Minar someday to see how Mughals built it for the victory of Mughals against the last Hindu Ruler, prithviraj Chauhan?

I am Hindu, i was labelled Hindu since birth so certainly i have a soft corner for my religion. I shall protect respect for Hindu religion in this world because ever since we all were born we were divided among religion. So Clear Question, Being Hindu should i visit this Minar?

Anyways question here is not about leaving an architecture in world so that coming generation shall keep remembering their names. If this is well accepted and true, Mayawati built a great inspirational park in Noida for Dr BR Ambedkar where they have invested huge money to showcase few monuments including few of living people like Mayawati to inspire people.  What is the root cause of building such monuments derives form History. this concept of rule - Built- Inspire generation was always their.

Anyways, if these were built for inspiration, i believe people with General caste would have not gone much to this park built by Mayawati because they certainly do not get inspired . If they do not go to maywati park, why do we go to see Qutub Minar?

I certainly have no intention to discriminate or anything, its just an open questions that why these monuments are made? are they made so that we get divided for coming centuries ? Are they worth making and giving so much values? If we stop giving values to such architecture which people try to make for their own benefit so that we people of country gets divided, they shall stop putting so much money in building these.

I strongly feel, we were born discriminated by religion but if we learn to not get discriminated by these few people in world, we all can stay united. Religion was always there, they divided us and made us weaker by not allowing us to stay united.

Defeat of Prithviraj Chauhan to a Mughal King cannot be remembered as Qutub minar , it should be remembered as just another War.
